Thank you for your Support of
Building Healthy Kids 406
As the third annual Building Healthy Kids Toy Drive comes to a close, we’re filled with gratitude and pride for what our community has accomplished together. What began as a simple mission, to provide building-themed toys that inspire creativity, problem-solving, and teamwork, has grown into a powerful movement that brings joy and hope to children across the Gallatin Valley through Thrive.

This year, we saw an incredible response from our local AEC (Architecture, Engineering, and Construction) community.
15 firms joined forces to make a difference, donating 18 fully packed boxes of toys and over $3,000 to help brighten the lives of children and families supported by Thrive. These gifts do more than bring smiles, they help stimulate young minds and bodies, promoting development and recovery.

A heartfelt thank you to this year’s participating firms:
Allied Engineering • Allied Concrete • Coffman Engineers • DCI Engineers • Distinctive Lighting • Gallatin Realty Group • Hullabaloo Toys + Novelty Gifts • IMEG Corp. • Kristy Paine • Martel Construction • Morrison Maierle • RJA Engineering • The Great Rocky Mountain Toy Company • Simkins Lumber • Tamarack Grove Engineering • ThinkOne Architects

We are humbled by the generosity and spirit of the AEC community. Your commitment continues to show that when we build together, we build stronger, both in our projects and in our community.

Thank you for making Building Healthy Kids 2025 our most impactful year yet. We can’t wait to see what we’ll create together next year!

Why Building Toys?
Building-themed toys aren’t just fun; they’re powerful tools for growth. They spark curiosity, nurture creativity, and provide hands-on lessons that strengthen both physical and cognitive development. These toys encourage teamwork and social interaction, sharpen problem-solving skills, and build persistence. Best of all, as children complete each building challenge, their confidence soars, laying a strong foundation for lifelong learning.

This Toy Drive collects new, unwrapped building toys that inspire joy, fuel imagination, and promote healthy development. Together, we can give kids the tools to dream big and build brighter futures.
“Thrive is excited to partner with Architects Alaska for the Building Healthy Kids 406 initiative! Our families benefit greatly from partnerships like the toy drive, and we love knowing that the toys they receive are thoughtfully curated to be engaging, educational, and interactive. Children learn essential motor, cognitive, and creative skills through playing with building-themed toys. Families feel supported knowing that their community is coming together to provide their children an opportunity for learning and play. Thank you to Architects Alaska for generously organizing this toy drive and all the businesses who helped make it happen. These toys will spark joy and imagination for so many of our community’s children!”

“Seeing the heartwarming success of the Building Healthy Kids toy drive in Anchorage has been nothing short of inspiring. In Bozeman, with “Building Healthy Kids 406,” we’re deeply committed to emulating that spirit and expanding our reach. Partnering with THRIVE for our inaugural event in Montana is a testament to our dedication. Our goal? To bring more joy more smiles, and to have an indelible impact on the children and families of our community. The toys from this drive do more than entertain; they equip Gallatin Valley’s children, laying the foundation for their future. We’re here to nurture the aspirations of our upcoming artists, engineers, architects, and builders, one toy at a time.”
